Yes, you have that option. At Holmes Place, we know how important it is to get to know products and services in advance before signing up for a membership. If you have any questions about this, please contact our advisors at the club of your choice. After the first meeting with one of our experts, you can complete a trial session.
Holmes Place is a membership club. If you make regular training a habit as a member, it will be easier for you to establish a healthy lifestyle. In this way, you can also enjoy the positive benefits in the long term. Changing your lifestyle is a process that you should be aware of. Otherwise, achieving a specific goal could be ineffective or even short-lived. As a member, you also enjoy numerous other benefits and can use all facilities and take part in a wide variety of group courses.

The initial consultation is a one-hour session with a personal trainer. In this session, the new member is asked questions in order to be able to assess their physical condition and put together the best training program for their individual goals. This unit also gives the member the opportunity to get familiar with the personal trainer and all the facilities in the club. If you missed your initial consultation, please contact our personal trainers or consultants to book a new session.

All sessions with the personal trainer must be arranged in advance at the club reception to ensure that the trainer is also available. Sign up for your session at the reception or directly with the trainer yourself.
All new members have the option of an initial consultation with a personal trainer (to be arranged in advance), which can be compared with a one-hour training session and the preparation of an individual training plan. Please read the question “What is the initial consultation?” In addition, the member receives a 30-minute nutritional consultation with one of our experts to support the training with a healthy diet plan.
We recommend that you wear light and comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Make sure that your clothing selection doesn't make other members feel uncomfortable. Members should never train topless and always wear shoes (training or tennis shoes).
Personal trainers will always ask if someone is taking the course for the first time. In this way, trainers can pay particular attention to the new members and provide them with advice and assistance. Please also keep your personal trainer informed about your health or physical condition. Have a look at our course schedule.
Due to our wide range of group courses, this is not necessary for most courses in most clubs. If you ask at the club reception, you will receive all the information you need about the course of your choice.
In order to ensure the comfort and well-being of our members, we try to change the course schedule as little as possible. Any changes affect the number of participants in an existing course or sometimes occur during summer time or vacation time. In principle, the plan does not change more than four times a year.
Due to legal and safety regulations, the minimum age is 16 years.
Taking into account youth protection legislation and fitness club safety, an age of at least 16 years is required. Parental consent is required up to the age of 18.
In all clubs, trainers in red T-shirts are available to provide you with advice and assistance and as an initial training aid. If you prefer individual guidance, you can also take advantage of our personal training offer. At the start of your membership, you even have the option of a free session with a personal trainer.
